Since the Sarawak Thalassaemia Society was form on 5th February 1994, we have grown from a small support group, comprising of the parents of the thalassaemia children and some medical advisors, to today's well established network of information in Sarawak. Today, we have two sub-committees formed in Sibu and Miri, to better serve our members in the Central and Northern region of Sarawak.

   

Our medical advisor, Dr Kok Juan Loong with Staff Nurses Sim and Yong travelled to Lawas and Miri to meet the parents and medical staffs, and briefed them on medication.
